Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a stunning waterfront interpretation of an 18th century Italian villa. The early 1900's waterfront estate, former winter residence of businessman James Deering, features Italian Renaissance styled gardens, stone fountains, curved walls and stairs, and stunning stone archways. Situated on Biscayne Bay, this National Historic Landmark is arguably Miami's most exquisite wedding venue. Those who have visited the gardens can attest to the intimacy of the gardens and the charm in every stone and detail.
With so many picturesque locations on the grounds of Vizcaya, you don’t run out of amazing photo opportunities.
The Garden Mound
The Garden Mound, located towards the rear of Vizcaya's gardens, is a large open space adjacent to the beautiful stone Casino. The bride's procession begins at the foot of the stone stairway, making for an unforgettable entrance. Then, you and your loved ones will be surrounded by majestic oak trees adorned with Spanish Moss as you state your vows to one another.
Ideal for elopements and ceremonies of up to 30 people.
The Tea House
The Tea House is situated right on Biscayne Bay and offers a cool breeze overlooking Downtown Miami.
